Quality Assurance
Hosung Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) is a natural fiber plastic composite made of wood fiber/wood powder and thermoplastics such as PE, PP, PVC, or PLA. In addition to wood fiber and plastic, WPC can also contain chemical additive materials such as mineral fillers and pigments. They enable the integration of polymers and wood powder (powder) while promoting optimal processing conditions.
The most widespread use of Hosung WPC is outdoor deck flooring, but it is also used for railings, fences, landscape timber, cladding and siding, park benches, decorative moldings and trim, window and door frames, and indoor furniture.
Quality Assurance – 4-Point Inspection, We perform 4-point inspections at our factory to ensure quality:
- Raw material inspection: As soon as the raw materials enter the production unit, they are tested in our laboratory to check their properties before they can enter the store
- Production stage inspection: At different stages of production, we will conduct tests to verify whether the purpose of a certain stage has been achieved. For example, an important limitation of polymers used for WPC is the need for process conditions (melting temperature, pressure) that do not thermally degrade the wood filler. Wood degrades at around 220°C.
- Product Inspection: The products produced in this way are subjected to the most stringent tests in accordance with global standards and are not shipped until they pass the tests
- Post-production Inspection: Before shipment, we conduct a visual inspection to check product tolerances and any other type of manufacturing defects.
Hosung WPC Quality Guarantee
Hosung WPC Flooring Lifespan: 10 years for hollow floors and 15 years for solid floors when used under normal conditions and in the manner in which the product was designed to be used.
We guarantee that if any manufacturing defects occur during the warranty period or the product suffers structural damage due to common termite/termite species, we will replace the defective product with an equal amount of similar material.
Manufacturing defects are generally described as:
- Blistering, cracking, or voids in materials
- Definition or crumbling of materials
- Rotting, bending, or cracking of materials
- Significant color change, discoloration, or fading not related to the normal weathering process
This warranty does not cover shipping and/or any delivery charges and assembly or disassembly charges. Any product damaged by vandalism, misuse or improper installation is not covered by this warranty.
