Quality assurance
Hosung Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) is a natural fiber plastic composite made from wood fiber/wood flour and thermoplastics such as PE, PP, PVC or PLA.
In addition to wood fibers and plastics, WPC can also contain chemical additive materials such as mineral fillers and pigments. They enable the integration of polymers and wood powders (powders) while promoting optimal processing conditions.
Hosung WPC is most widely used for outdoor deck floors, but it is also used for balustrades, fences, landscape wood, cladding and siding, park benches, decorative molding and trim, window and door frames, and interior furniture.
These materials can be molded with or without simulated wood grain details.
We carry out 4 checks in the factory to ensure quality:
Raw material inspection: As soon as the raw material enters the production unit, it will be tested in our laboratory to check its characteristics, and it will enter the store after passing
Production stage inspection: At different stages of production, we will carry out tests to verify whether the purpose of a certain stage has been achieved. For example, an important limitation of the polymers used for WPC is the need for process conditions (melting temperature, pressure) that do not thermally degrade wood fillers. Wood degrades at around 220°C.
Product inspection: The products produced in this way are subjected to the most stringent testing in accordance with global standards, and can be shipped after passing the test
Post-production inspection: Before shipping, we perform a visual inspection to check for product tolerances and any other types of manufacturing defects.
Hosung WPC quality Assurance
Hosung WPC floor life: Hollow floor warranty is 10 years, solid floor warranty is 15 years when used under normal conditions and according to the product design use.
We guarantee that if any manufacturing defect occurs or the product suffers structural damage due to common termite/termite species during the warranty period, we will replace the defective product with an equal amount of similar material.
